Apostle Winona B. Turner is an anointed spiritual leader, determined to walk with purpose in the fear and admonition of the Lord. She is "called out", committed and dedicated to fulfilling the work God has called her to do.
At the age of 27, Apostle Turner committed her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and was filled with the Holy Spirit. She attributes her strong foundation and spiritual training to the Apostolic Fathers and Mothers, who under the direction of the Holy Spirit, she submitted herself to. Their impartations helped to develop her for the work of the Ministry.
On November 30, 1996, Apostle Turner became Senior Pastor of Spirit of Truth Worship Center. The church is a strong foundational church growing into a Holistic Ministry. Apostle Turner preaches and teaches a practical, but powerful message that changes the lives of people. Her message is a message of Holiness. Not withholding the fact that one cannot be Holy until they are "whole". The Spirit of Grace and Truth does the work. Apostle Turner’s nurturing spirit brings trust and peace in the hearts of people, as they grow in their new birth experience. Classes are offered and activities and fellowshipping services for men, women, and children are scheduled. The entire family is empowered. There are myriads of services that have helped to develop people spiritually, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and financially at Spirit of Truth Worship Center. They include: Before and After Care for Children, Fresh Start Christian Academy (Grades K4 – 9th), Summer Camps, Crisis Center for Rent & Utilities, Food and Clothing Center, Toys for Tots Program, Spiritual Retreats, Personal Deliverance Sessions, Dancing in the Spirit Training Sessions, Nursing Home Outreach, Transportation Services, Financial Counseling, Basketball Camp, Outreach Missions in Africa, and the Spirit of Truth School of Ministry Bible College.
Apostle Winona B. Turner was consecrated Bishop in August 2010 and in December 2010 she was set in the Office of The Apostle. In June 2012, Apostle Turner received her Doctorate Degree in Ministry. Apostle Turner’s call continues to open doors for the furtherance of the Gospel. Her Apostolic Office has positioned her to oversee, mentor, and prepare the "New Generation" for the work of the Kingdom of God. In conclusion, Apostle Turner walks with purpose everyday of her life and is mandated to be an example to encourage others to trust God. For the people who do know their God shall be strong and do exploits, hence leaving a Godly legacy to pass to generations to come.
